The LAM ID system is designed to perform a fast gamma contamination check of laundry, waste bags, tools and other small objects. Measurement results, alarms and malfunctions are displayed by the control console as well as the alarm unit.

MAIN FEATURES

  • Larger internal volume than traditional Large Article Monitors (LAM)

  • Fast and accurate contamination measurements

  • Fully accessible measurement chamber

  • Movable system for easy relocation

  • Detectors: up to 6 large plastic scintillators

  • NaI(Tl) detector with MCA for NORM detectability (only 6U NORM version); Isotope ID (Optional)

  • Easy decontamination of internal and external surfaces

  • Measuring chamber 28”x28”x33”

  • Ethernet connection available for data exporting

The EASYSCAN spectrometric mobile system is a robust and handy system designed to perform an easy, fast and precise spectrometric analysis of radioactive material contained in drums, where the fine spectroscopy provided by HPGe-based systems is not needed.

MAIN FEATURES

  • Efficient alternative to HPGe-based systems

  • Fully characterized with Monte Carlo simulations

  • Characterization of drum sub-volumes, up to 400 liters

  • Robust mechanical structure

  • Detectors: 4 NaI(Tl) scintillators 3”x3” with compact MCA

  • 0.8" lead shielding/collimator for each detector

  • Geometries database and release limits calculation

  • Data archive and measurement reports

  • MDA (Co-60): down to 0.05 Bq/g (15 min)
