    ICS-6 Interlock System Download Brochure Get a Quote The ICS-6 “ELISe” Expandable Laser Interlock System (to achieve performance level ‘e’) is designed to achieve EN ISO 13849-1 PLe. It is housed in a similar unit to the ICS-5, which is the most popular Laser Interlock Control System designed and manufactured by Lasermet, but the expandable ICS-6 has, as one of its options, remote monitoring. ​ This compact, versatile unit can control laser interlocks, door locks, illuminated warning signs and other equipment. It can operate beam shutters and the laser power with feedback monitoring and fault detection. It can be interfaced to Access Control and Fire Detection Systems and is fitted with an Override to allow controlled access through interlocked doors while also accepting emergency stop inputs. ​ The ICS-6 provides even higher levels of safety and functionality and has full start-to-end dual channel architecture and fault detection to meet the latest standards. This new modular system fits neatly on to optical tables to provide a 11.8” (300mm ) high wall. ​ The system comprises of certified laser blocking walled panels, posts (to screw into the table) and channel posts which are either straight or right angled to connect the wall panels together. Modular Design ​ The modular system is easily constructed by screwing the posts into the table, then slotting the straight or corner channel posts over the round posts and then simply placing the wall panels in position.     Audio Alert Download Spec-Data Sheet Get a Quote For automatic announcements, warnings, instructions or messages The Audio Alert system is a local public address system that audibly delivers a pre-programmed message when triggered. The message is heard from a speaker integrated into the compact unit, which is triggered – either by switching the unit on (by applying 24VDC), or by movement being detected by a passive infrared detector built into the unit. The audible warning device is contained in a professionally styled, attractive wall mounted unit, and can act as a local public address PA system where it can do the job of an announcer of audible warning messages, providing an acoustic warning to complement visual warning signs. The provision of a talking message enables the loudspeaker feature to be incorporated into hospitals, offices, engineering establishments, doctors or dentists waiting rooms, or other internal environments where audible information is required. This speaking message can be up to 40 seconds long and can be set to automatically repeat as frequently or infrequently as required for up to an hour. ​ So, next time you want to automatically warn, instruct, or inform someone in the vicinity, just decide on the message, which can be up to 40 seconds long, and the frequency of delivery and we can pre-program the device to your specification. ​ This is an ideal audible warning device for a hospital, doctor’s surgery, passport control area of an airport, train station, car park, or wherever a line of people may develop, or just where repetitive instruction or warning is required. The Audio Alert system is a local public address system that audibly delivers a pre-programmed message when triggered. To prevent tampering of the volume the adjustment feature is kept within the unit. Optional functions, which are decided at the point of ordering, include the facility to hear a single message on triggering or to have it repeated at specified intervals. ​ Messages can be delivered once on triggering and then repeated. It can be delayed for up to an hour. This reduces the possibility of the message becoming a nuisance. ​ If the device is used in a temporary situation it can be returned to be reprogrammed with an alternative message, or you can use the Compatible Microphone System. The message can be recorded by the customer using the microphone and connector system.     Laser Curtains Download Brochure Get a Quote Most Class 4 and many Class 3B lasers are dangerous and can present an eye hazard over very long distances, and ordinary curtains are incapable of stopping such a laser beam. Custom laser curtains and products are needed as a solution. ​ Designed for use in industry, medical facilities, hospitals and operating rooms, our laser blocking curtains are made from specially-developed laser-blocking material. Medical or industrial laser blocking curtains can be supplied ready-made as ceiling or wall-mounted curtains. The laser blocking material provides ‘World Class’ laser blocking capability while being extremely light weight and flexible, ideal for everything from industrial laser curtains to operating room laser curtains. ​ The material is white on one side and black on the other side and will operate as a blackout screen as well as a laser-blocking screen. Both sides will block laser radiation but if the white side is used as the laser-blocking side, a higher specification of blocking will be achieved — making it suitable for higher power lasers. ​ Tested in accordance with NFP92-503 (Electrical Burner Test), the material is rated as M2. When irradiated with greater than 35 w/cm² it will emit a non-hazardous smoke and may glow, thus indicating that a stray beam is present. Protection times given by the material at various power densities are shown in the specifications below. The top of the curtain has brass eyelets (as seen in the picture on the right) every 6 inches and the curtain is supplied with a stainless steel hook for connecting to a curtain track.
